Panthers Release Hangartner

$2M is a lot to pay for a turnstile, and for those panicking, you should all know better that these types of moves precipitate other moves. I trust in Gettleman and it's foolish to live in the "here and now" before waiting for this whole thing to play out. Patience.

I couldn't agree more. 89/90 positions are filled right now, so just wait people

Well it is when you have been reading joe person slanted views that didnt give the context of the comments and when gettleman reviewed the tape of last year and is aware of the read option heavy was ineffective and cam needs to work on being a better passer.

You have stated that gettleman isnt providing the proper tools for us to compete this year because rivera is not his guy. All the evidence supports to the contrary.

You are looking for things that are not there. I suggest reading rayzors thread about the gettleman comments. He knows cam is the present and the future. And he wants this team to succeed right now. Thinking otherwise goes against facts and id being a negative nancy

Don't bother arguing with him. It's like arguing with ur GF/Wife, you'll never win no matter how much more sense you make.

I wonder if this says more about Nate Chandler being a back up RT than Williams being a starter.

my fingers are crossed on KugZilla panning out. Our interior oline could he nasty, but I would like to go into the season with experienced, quality starters.

One more week until our first preseason game. i can't wait

I guess the coach staffs and GM are seeing the same thing the fans are seeing. That the OL is not performing satisfactorily. Like it.

Seems like we had enough cap room to make moves without cutting piggy. Can't say I fully understand this, piggy has value as a swing backup being able to play multiple positions on the line. Also watched an interview with Gross just yesterday in which he was saying this is the best the oline has looked in tc in years, so I hope the chemistry can continue with whoever we bring in.

We don't. We are in so much trouble next year. We are right at cap without  resigning

Derek Anderson, Bruce Cambell,Colin Cole, Domenik Hixon,

Captain Munnerlyn, Jordan Senn, Jason Williams, DJ Moore,

Bell, Florence, Ginn, Gross, Mitchell, Lafell and Hardy.

The 13 million we carry over has to go towards their resignings. Hell, Hardy and Lafell alone will eat up that 13 mil or close to it.

It could. Or it could be he knew Hangman had the best chance to jump onto another roster so he cut him early in hopes someone signs him soon.

This bothers me just because we have an absurd lack of veterans on the oline.

i really hope that is aroud the corner. even tho i like kugzila and think he's the long term answer, i was looking forward to no newb starters/rookies on the OL this year. i'm so tired of that.
