Gotta love NFL Network

Are you guys god damn serious

you don't understand why they would show Cam's pick?

lets consider a few things

1.The QB. Cam is a QB on an up and coming team with a lot to prove. All eyes are on him. Cutler may be in a contract year, but people know what to expect from him anyway.

2. The Defender- John Norman is a second year starter out of CCU. Wasn't hyped in college. hasn't played well enough to get hyped up in the NFL. Jon Bostic is a ROOKIE out of UF who was drafted SPECIFICALLY to replace Bears legend and potential Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher. So again, all eyes are Bostic, whereas no eyes are on Norman (and deservingly so)

3. The Play- This is simple enough. 11 yard INT return by Norman. FIFTY-ONE yard PICK SIX by Bostic

4. The Game- It's preseason. No one cares who won the game in preseason. It's all about the individual performances. In the regular season, both picks probably would be shown, but this is the Preseason so the 51 yard pick 6 by Brian urlachers sucessor is going to get the attention.

you guys are so deluded with this us-againt-the-world attitude

What about the Comments "we had to comeback and win the game". That sounds like somebody who didn't watch the game.

Plus the fact that the Bears

Have a new Coach considered a Offensive Guru. (1st play a INT)

They have higher expectations then us by National Media  opinion.

Cutler is as highly critic as Cam.

There were just as much reason to show Cutler INT as it was Cam's

- Cutler has just as much to pove as Cam... if he struggle he's gone.

- Josh Norman is not currently a starter and he was a 5th round draft pick from an FCS school.

- Jon Bostic was drafted out of Florida and in the second round. Your info is also incorrect, D.J. Williams was brought in to be Urlacher's replacement. Williams was out due to a calf injury.

- An interception by a backup who was a 5th round pick from an FCS school (who was benched for his poor play last year) on Cutler's first pass vs. an int pick six by a 2nd round pick out of Flordia who had nothing but green grass ahead of him on that pick six... seems like a push.

- Preseason: You play to win the game, just watch Steve Smith's post game interview.

- Anymore stupid comments?

Honestly, I can't recall a media organization targeting a player to such extent ever while promoting a mediocre player who complete only 54% of their pass with 18 INT. Pathetically weird!

- Not even slightly. people except wya way more from Cam than Cutler. Tons of bears fans are indifferent towards cutler/wont be that sad when he goes. Cam has a vehement fan base behind him.

-Ok so he's not a starter anymore. if anything it makes it less relevent.

- The Bears drafted a highly touted MLB prospect for no reason then? No. DJ Williams was insurance in the event that they don't get a guy they actually want to play MLB. there's no way Williams starts over Bostic, especially now.

-That is not a push..how could you even say that. You're making the case about how irrelevant Norman is and yet his less impressive pick is somehow equal to the very relevant Bostic's pick six.

-Smith can say that all he wants...but you watch the games and you know it's not the case.

Pitiful little homer you are.

- People can expect more out of Cam but that doesn't mean they're right. At the end of the day, the coaches and general managers will determine who has more to prove.

- if anything it makes it more relevant, a ba coup came in and picked off Cutlers first pass of the season.

- The Bears even said that Williams was brought in to replace Urlacher, Bostic is there to push Williams.

- Norman's play was easily more impressive.. He read the quarterback's eyes and jumped the route (a slant, which was something that he struggled with last year). Bostic caught a ball that was thrown right to him because the quarterback didn't see him.

- Smitty's opinion> message board bears troll fan

- You might want to get your head out of your ass or it's going to be a short and unpleasant time here for you.

True.

And why would you [as a network] show the INT of a QB, of the winning team (who also had a TD), unless you/they had an agenda?

And if someone brings up "but it  was preseason, wins don't count". Then I will still repeat the question; why show the INT, if the same QB had a TD (unless you had an agenda of course)?

Weird!

Actually Norman's first int was not that impressive of a play. Alshon Jeffrey pulled up on the slant, which left Cutler out to dry.

Norman made the play, but it was more of a mistake by the WR than a great play by Norman.

Weird!

Bc it was the biggest play of the game....score thrown out the window. The best, biggest and most exciting play was the Bear INT....if you are neutral to both teams

I swear some huddles on here have the thinnest skin and sandiest vaginas in the world.

Why you guys keep caring what ESPN and NFL Network think us just beyond me.

Get the fug over it.

We're just seeking answers because that's weird behavior on the media's part.

Bostic's highlight is the most exciting thing that happened that game. Period. Yeah, sure, there were other exciting plays and scores and crap, but that was the only one worth a quick hit viewing.

Now, the fact that every single game summery article on every sports coverage site starts with at least a paragraph detailing how Newton threw that pick is a tad more telling.

Norman made the play, but it was more of a mistake by the WR than a great play by Norman.

He had to reach behind him to catch a ball that was batted by the wide out. That was great hand-eye.

In my opinion, that's much more impressive then a player catching a ball simply because he wasn't seen by the QB.

Also if you watch the play, you'll notice that Norman forced Jeffrey to pull up, if Jeffrey doesn't pull up he runs right into Norman.

It was overall a pretty solid play by Josh.
