Could Gettis challenge Lafell?

For those of you who believe Lafell has earned the number two spot or even has that spot locked down, why?  What in the world has Lafell done to say he locked that spot down?  From what I've seen of his talents, I would place him at the number three receiver for most teams.  Now I've dialed it down a great deal concerning Gettis because of his injury problems, and him seemingly being on Rivera's bad side.  Yet if he's healthy, and continues to improve in practice, the number two spot has Gettis' name all over it.

Lafell does have the #2 spot locked. I've said all along Gettis should be the #3 easy while preparing to take over as number 1. It's not a ranking, they're different roles. Lafell is the possession/blocking WR that we need at #2. Gettis could very well be the #1 guy that defenses have to plan for and has the ability to make the big plays the team needs.

I have been a Gettis supporter but i laid off when it was obvious Rivera was never gonna put him on the field.

Right now I'd say no, because LaFell has proven that he can play and does. Gettis needs to get his feet wet on a regular.
