If we look bad against the Ravens, hit the panic button.

INB4 it is what it is

I wouldn't call it a panic. I just believe its fear more than anything. The last two years have been disappointing and nobody wants a repeat of last year. The regular season just needs to start so we can put away this "it's just preseason" label and see if we are ready to take a step forward.

By the way... The 2008 Lions won all 4 of their preseason games and went 0-16 in the regular season, so.....

Yes, if cherry picked statistics were logical then this indeed would be an excellent point. Unfortunately, some research reveals this kind of thing to be the exception, not the rule.

This is one of the top options that popped up after a quick Google search, though there are certainly many more.

Again I'll ask, how many consecutive seasons of the same problems that plague the Panthers in the preseason going on into the regular season have to happen before Panthers fan stop turning a blind eye to their team's early season struggles?

There is no magical incantation that will fix our issues just because the "pre" label is dropped form the games.

I don't understand how fans on this forum can brush of some of the struggles we've had this preseason to it just being the preseason. It's the same issues we've been dealing with for the past two years. It's not about winning and losing in the preseason but you do want to see production.

why dont you start a thread about it

We looked great against the bears, now we lose a close game to the eagles and it's time to worry? What has you any more worried then 2-3 weeks ago when training camp was still going?

We knew the OL was bad then, we know it's bad now.

It isn't just the positions of weakness. It's the same poor-coaching rooted issues that have been present in the preseason throughout Rivera's tenure that has dragged into the regular season now making themselves evident this preseason as well. It's the exact same issues and Panthers fans have just cause to be concerned about them after they've proven themselves to be a legitimate cause for worry.

I'm pretty sure you're worrying about the same things most of us have been worrying about long before preseason.

Last year we won game #3 of the pre-season and then cruised to a 1-6 start.  Game 3 is surely a gauge on our future.

Pre-season we play guys like Fua over Edwards and Star.

Gettleman said before the season the only way to evaluate a player is playing him with the #1s.  While it may not be all of them at once.  I don't get too worried if we suck.  Of course we want to win.  It is our nature.

Too many variables going on.  To be honest with you.  If the staff isn't worried, I try to see it their way.  If they say.  We have some concerns here and there.  I would take it something needs to be done but regardless Panic isn't one of them.
