So why was the D-Line populated with backups for a couple of series in the first?

Unknown, but I can't help but wondering if Rivera or McDermott sat them for a little bit because they were pissed at their early performance.

Gotta suck for the starters knowing the first sack of the game was produced by their backups.

Bad coaches + bad o-line + poor secondary is not a good combo...everything else checks out, well sorta

And after playing well he's been rotated out again....they are just getting everyone involved.

They were in for the second and third series. DL rotation doesn't generally start that quickly.

Starters came back in after the backups got a sack and have been in pretty much since then.
