Rivera says offense not good enough

...but he is so much different and has learned so much! Right guys? Right?

It was all about continuity with Cam than putting him with a completely new coordinator in this critical third season IIRC.  Apparently that was more important than a more qualified OC.

I know the run offense didn't look good at all but who expected them to at this point.  The Ravens will have one of the best defenses in the league and we don't run against them with success ever. Yeah the o-line looked bad but I think it looked worse because of who we played.  This was really a defensive struggle despite all the points which  were really scored by the defense and special teams.

This isn't excuses but reality.  News flash, we won't run well against Pittsburgh either .  They have a great run defense.  Unfortunately so will Seattle.

It wasn't good and it wasn't  just the Oline, receivers dropped critical passes that would have extended drives.  Guys who are reliable like Olsen and LaFell weren't.

Not to mention that Cam was not on either....he missed some guys as well.

It was just the perfect storm out there on offense.

But.....this was 75% OL, 20% WR, and 5% Cam.

I swear, its as if fans want Cam to go 29 for 29 with 533 yards and 7 TDs. Other than a pass or two, Cam was accurate. In fact, he should have finished 13 for 19 last night (three catchable passes dropped).

Agreed. I saw that last line, and just ignored it/took his post as a waste of time.

It's almost like we didn't watch the same game.

The Lafell and Gettis drops were huge, especially the Lafell one bc he would have scored a long TD.

Our passing game will be fine but our running game is going to be hit or miss this year bc of our OL.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
