Madden 25

Won my first online match. Dude was broncos and scored his first drive. After that I played as Luke and spied the whole game. Dude didn't cross midfield.

Star is an animal. I got a push all the way to the Qb for the times I played as him. The interceptions are weird. The game doesn't freeze like before and switch sides. Instead of me having an easy pick 6, my guy turned around and Lost three yards after the INT. Hope they get that fixed.

Overall I really like the gameplay. Much improved from last year. Easily the best Madden yet.

Roster updates continue into week 7...but week 2's NFL season is usually the best one to use to begin the franchise..week 1 if you cannot wait.

Updates are on tuesdays? after the season begins.

Just played my first game.  Gettis is a beast in the slot!

 

Think I'm gonna start an owner mode with one of the franchise that could end up relocating (JAX/SD/STL) and go through the relocation process to see how that is...

It's owner mode yea.  You can raise ticket prices, concessions, merch etc.  Rennovate/build a new stadium, or relocate all together.

The tackling feel odd this year to anyone else?  Seems like the hit stick is damn near useless now and the hits as a whole feel "soft" or something

When I played the CPU Beason laid someone the fug out.

Franchise mode never left...just changed the name.

starting to have issues with freezing. looovely. first madden purchase in years.

I've been able to get a few games in and i have to say it's decent, but you definitely have to play with the sliders. the offense has a massive edge over the defense and I'm tempted to almost label it.. well... broken. the worst part is that rather than EA balance it, they instead jacked up the amount of fumbles and drops by the offense to counter it (read: laziness)

 

 

again, it's decent, but it's gonna take some time tinkering with the sliders to balance it out. I'm sure next year they'll "revamp" the defense for the 8th time, the "mechanics" of it will be that title's big new feature, and hopefully itll be back to normal.

Defense was terrible on the demo.

Madden 13 had good defense.

^Same issue. On Pro, nobody does anything on me. All-Pro, I'm actually having close games.

All Pro the defense actually was pretty good for me.  WRs were still a little too open at times, but I didn't feel like no matter what coverage I called guys would manage to magically get open.  I'm waiting for some rosters that have Brandon Williams on them before I start an owner mode with the Panthers, so right now I'm having fun with the St Louis Rams (I mean L.A. Aftershocks)....
