Gettis left the game (hamstring).

Can't find it on the rotoworld website, but the phone app listed it.

Gettis left Thursday's preseason game with a hamstring injury and will not return, Panthers.com Bryan Strickland reports.

To me a hamstring 9 times out of 10 is due to poor conditioning. I feel like especially is WRs ran sprints the whole offseason or even part of it there would be less hamstring injuries in general.

In saying that I have been pulling for Gettis since day one and will continue to do so. I have a feeling that we are going to get to see plenty of all of our WRs this year.

Can you imagine how pissed he probably is right now if those TDs that Ginn caught today were "supposed" to be his routes in the game... Purely speculation of course, but I bet he'd be pissed

he'll likely still make the team... if we run with six receivers who's going to take his spot? bersin? lol

Well, I found it odd they made a point to mention he was actually much higher on the depth chart than many believed....

Ability to actually suit up probably will factor

Also, don't overlook the entire camp we had....Gettis didn't impress per reports despite his ever growing fan club

smith, lafell, ginn, hixon, edwards... who do you propose gets the sixth spot? or are you suggesting we just run with five?

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
