This should be helpful for those hoping we bring in some extra help on our offensive line and in the secondary. There should be some upgrades available after teams get down to 53.

None reported as of yet for the Panthers.

Dang... The Bills already cut Matt Leinart. He must have stunk up his audition. I feel bad for the dude. Brought in for 1 preseason game and cut the same day.

You knew going any he was just being used to get through 1 game.

They couldn't expose there undrafted rookie who they have prepped to start week 1 while EJ is down.

Yeah, I mean you're right... I just saw on NFL.com that he had tweeted out the day Buffalo picked him up something to the effect of: I've been working very hard for 8 months, thank you for the opportunity to prove myself Buffalo.

I just feel for him in a human sense, not as a player.

Classy act by the Falcons... They have only reported cutting Brian Banks (this is the guy who went to jail and was innocent) I hope he catches on somewhere else maybe.

Don't see how it's wrong/unclassy of the Falcons to cut the dude.  Past misfortunes make good player success stories (for the ones that do succeed), but they're not reasons to keep a dude on the roster. At the end of the day, it's about the ability to play.

That being said, I do hope someone else picks him up.

The poster was being serious.  Cutting his as early as possible in the process gives him the best chance of latching on elsewhere.  It WAS a class move by the Falcons.  He's PS eligible too.

I'm keeping an eye on the cut wire for O-Linemen

Zebrie Sanders

Young guy. No starts

3 year starter with the Bears, and a mountain of a man.

Tackle from the Eagles. No starts. Undersized for 6'6" at 310 lbs.

Dallas Reynolds

14 game starter with the Eagles at Center.

Matt Tennant

No starts in 4 seasons at Center for Philly. Not interested.

Edwin Williams

Here is a guy I like a lot. He was pressed into service as a starter a couple times with the Bears, but I'm not sure he's much more than a backup. But I interviewed him in college during the Maryland pro day, and he's just an awesome guy. He recognized me on the second day, walked up and shook my hand, greeted me by name. Super smart, very grounded; when I asked him what he thought his chances were in the NFL he told me he was a realist. NFL was his plan A, if that didn't work out he had a plan B, and then a plan C. I always root for him because he's got such a good personality. I want him to have a good career as a player so he can have a great career as a broadcaster. Not sure he's right for us, but I'm really hoping he lands somewhere.

Adam Bice

Rookie Center. Pass

Senio Klemete

Second year guard. No starting experience.

Chilo Rachal

Former starter at guard for the 49ers and Bears.

Jordan Devey

Baltimore Rookie. Pass.

Rogers Gaines

Baltimore Rookie Tackle. Wouldn't be an upgrade.

Reggie Stephens

Never started a game. Baltimore's crop of O-linemen is pretty crappy.

Luke Patterson

Patriots guard is a little undersized at 295 for the road-grading, run blocking line we need.

Matt Stankiewitch

Heh heh. Stanky witch.

Derek Dennis

Bears camp scrub. Nothing to see here.

Rams cuts are in:

Brandon Washington

Not a very experienced G, but if he's got anything like a motor I'd give him a look. 6'2" 320, he's a boulder.

D.J. Young

25 and never started a game at Tackle.

Woops.

Didn't pick up on that, my bad.

    • No, it will be a raw 6'7" 17-year-old European who just played basketball for the first time in March and who the idiot GM "had first on our board." He'll play the whole G-League season, get in 42 games for the Hornets and average 1.1 ppg on 35% shooting. Been there, seen that.
    • We missed on Burns at his peak value. That’s the problem with trading for picks 2-3 years away (which people were convinced the Rams would suck by now and these would be higher picks btw). Each year away the pick is the further in value it drops. Fitt was clearly hired based on turning us around quickly. It’s one of the many reasons tanking isn’t really a thing as our player JJ is telling you in this original article. It would take the whole organization from the owners down admitting they aren’t winning soon with Burns and picks 2-3 years away having more value because that’s when we are still rebuilding. It would only make sense if Fitt had a longer leash and would more than likely be the ones making these picks anyway which you wouldn’t want. The question is would you rather have those Rams picks with the strong possibility of Fitt still being here or would you rather Fitt try to “win now” like he did and expedite his firing? Altering the timeline would affect more than just the Rams picks.
    • I dont buy the idea that it would create more competitive games Given this: Seed Current Format Record Proposed Open Seeding Record 1 Lions 15–2 Lions 15–2 2 Eagles 14–3 Eagles 14–3 3 Buccaneers 10–7 Vikings 14–3 4 Rams 10–7 Commanders 12–5 5 Vikings 14–3 Rams 10–7 6 Commanders 12–5 Buccaneers 10–7 7 Packers 11–6 Packers 11–6 That would mean Wild Card round would have been Eagles (14/3) v  Pack(11/6) Vikings(14/3) v Bucs(10/7) Commanders(12/5) v Rams(10/7) Instead of Eagles (14/3) v  Pack(11/6) Bucs(10/7) v Commanders(12/5) Rams(10/7) v Vikings(14/3) Then with the reseed it would mean that highest remaining seed would always draw the lowest remaining team.
