beason was at least an all pro that season. they were 1a and 1b at that time in a lot of peoples' minds.

injuries hurt him more than any particular deficiency in his game.

I know, I know... I'm talking about before the season started. Willis was DROY, Beason had a great year. Beason probably was better in 2008, but Willis is currently the best in the league.

Could you imagine us trying to make that argument now?

Y'all are high on crack cocaine. The Carolina Panthers?? You have got to be kidding me!! The same Carolina Panthers who lost to the Hawks last year in one of Seattle's worst games of the season whilst Carolina was putting in WORK on that sparkling 7-9 season??? You know, the team with that quarterback who's only really good at being cocky and letting his pops take the fall for accepting bribes? Oh yeah, you guys are Super Bowl or bust... Go Hawks!

How many winning seasons does Cam have? 0

How many playoff wins? 0

Oh well, it could be worse, you guys could be Falclown fans. They're unbearable with their choke artist of a QB.

Your posts stink of a loser from Charlotte that just jumped on the Seahawks bandwagon. Your smack is even regurgitated bullshit.

haha so we're talking about cam's "wins" now

drop wilson on our 2011 and 2012 teams with the exact same game management and playcalling and tell me the panthers win 11 games.

if cam keeps his current pace re: total yards and touchdowns and plays for say 13 years he'll be top five all time in both categories.  dan marino is the only player who's scored more through his first two seasons than cam.  but it's his fault the panthers have been 13-19 in his first two years right.

    • I suppose it depends on what you mean as 'elite'. I typically mean someone that can play with lower level pieces around them and still win. There are very few of those.
    • It would obviously be incredible if Brooks came back and just ran away with the job on his opportunities like Rico Dowdle did last year. But any Panthers fan that has been around the block knows better than to go ahead and make plans for that. Brooks has missed a ton of not just playing time but meaningful early career growth in a league that has increasingly devalued the position from an investment standpoint beyond one or two superstars. There's really not any comparison to look back on that lines up with the current iteration of the league at least not favorably. The key thing that this RB room has going for them is our investment in the OL. The highest paid OL in the league two years in a row paired with our staff should make it easier for just about any RB to get into open running lanes. But that is also anything but a given considering our OL was largely middle of the pack last year. In the end it might all be a moot point anyways if we again struggle to establish a viable passing attack.
    • I don't have him making the team and I think same goes for the staff, but they are hopeful for a PS spot.    I mean of course I'd like 3 all-world at RB and every spot, just doesn't work that why. Panthers normally carry 3. dan always talk up Etienne, even called him a future star.....I think Brooks will be fine as a 2 with health pls.....  Chubba can carry a seasons load as lead dawg.    Its fine, I mean backup OGs or CB is much higher on my worry scale(Id even put QB room as worse than RB room too...)
