With the way Captain has degressed, I don't see how he makes it to midseason.

Captain has always been an overachieving hard worker. He has never been a skilled DB and it shows like it did in seattles last 2 drves. I put him in the list of one of those players we keep that won't start on other teams. My only beef with our cuts was letting florence go. Hopefully this won't be a theme all year

No need to defend a coach with a losing record and firmly on the hot seat.

If he does something I don't agree with, I'll call it out just like everyone else. If I can see the reasoning behind something, I'll defend it. This isn't Chuds offense. The ability to go 25 yards a time isn't a focal point any more. I also don't have any confidence that the OLine could hold up to let long routes develop.

I like that the fans want to be aggressive and put as many points up as possible. I also like that the coach weighed the pros versus the cons and ran out the clock.

What has Short done so far?

 

he played a nice role when Star got credit for shutting down a run in one of the first few drives..   maybe others have paid more attention, I can't decide what to focus on...   and on TV, I can't always get a players number so that's probly been a factor as well...

If we got the ball closer to midfield, yeah maybe you take some shots, but that deep in your own territory we did the right thing.

Last thing you want to have happen is turn around and be down 17-7 if they score to start the seconf half because of a botched play or something

      there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying

      Trevin Wallace - One Final Shot...or is Cherelus someone to watch?

      I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.

      Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
