Wilson's t mobility saved his ass on a lot of plays. allowing WR to get open. Also we still are playing with big cushions, WHY? i mean with a mean pass rush, shouldn't we press every single time..?

 

The secondary still needs work, Mikell looked lost at times ( I expected that, still needs to learn DEF).

 

We did press, what were you looking at? The problem with a press is exactly what happened to Thomas, he pressed and his man got around him to get open deep. But when you're getting a good pass rush then a press can save your hide. It's a tightrope that burned us once, but burned us nonethless.

Well we shut down what is widely considered the 2nd best RB in the game and got constant pressure.  Wilson and the Seahawks just kept pulling them out of their asses.

 

Star looks great, I'm happy for him... but the team still needs to step the fug up.  No excuse for the boneheaded plays/penalties and only 7 points.  We should NOT have lost that game.

Wilson is slippery as fug, I gained a lot of respect for him today.  Our front 7 played lights out and he persevered.  That one completion when he was essentially throwing the ball away was one of the luckiest plays I've ever seen though.

I seen a lot of soft coverage, did they press yeah at times... But for the most part I seen soft coverage......

      Good write up OP..... I may be the outlier here but I like our WR sans XL. Metchie is sneaky good and just like Dowdle last year he WILL BE the biggest under the radar singing of this year FA moves. I am warming up to the idea of Sadiq at 19 over defense. I'm just ready for every BY excuse to be gone, he doesn't have this or that. No he just sucks and we need to move on. Honestly I've said it before but this team has been depleted of so much talent over the years we really could go BPA and be fine. In DM I trust..........for now

      He's not Cam brother. Disrespectful to Cam at this point to keep mentioning them together. That's just my opinion. We all agree we need the young guys to step up. They have to varying degrees. But they're still learning. Especially the rookies. Guys like Miller and Moose need to take another step and we hope they will get there. Both need to add some bulk in the offseason. Kalk too. We can give them a little grace though. We extended the same courtesy to LaMelo in his earlier years. Many excuses were afforded to him. I agree completely that we need to see both offensive evolution and development under Lee. I feel like the team in some aspects has taken a step back at times under his watch. That can't continue. I hope it all comes together. We'll see. But that clock is ticking and there should be NO excuses after this upcoming season. No more embarrassment please.
