I still can't believe Baltimore traded Boldin like that to San Francisco for virtually nothing.

He just put up 208 yards on Green Bay. What the hell was John Harbaugh thinking.

Probably content with his Super Bowl win and is looking out for his brother who can easily make a push now.  A player like Boldin is likely to push SF over the top.

Ravens had a horrible offseason in my opinion.  We seen a bit of that Thursday night.

A lot of the time its the luck of the system you get drafted into. With the new breed QBs who are threats to run and pass, Cam is at a disadvantage as he has only had throwback coaches who prefer pocket passing systems. A great coach adapts to his players strengths, while ours ignore them. The Panthers think the scheme is greater than the players, which gets the results we have had for so many seasons. Gettleman  wants a throw back system, its what he knows being with the Giants. He wants a Manning pocket passer, pound the ball, and great defense.

Cam is fine a drop back QB.

He was never best running the read option too often as his perception. He was always best, standing back in the pocket, and running when he had to or a few designed plays as today.

I had no major problem with the game called today. Sure they could have went deep more often, and used more play action. However, the Panthers didn't really have the ball much during the game.

I think the Panthers have to play at a faster pace, and stop trying to muddle the ball up the field all the time. Of course, the defense needs to get off the field sooner as well, giving them more opportunities.

Other teams make bone headed plays but the good teams overcome them. No way the 49ers would swap Kap for Cam.

Why not? Oh yeah, because Cam is the whopping boy for the media. Some of you folks kill me.

What I see is, some QBs are given a chance to make mistakes and grow and others aren't. It's clear to see that Kap, Russel, RG III, and Luck just aren't as scrutinized as much as Cam. Heck, not even Blaine Gabbert is scrutinized as much as Cam.  I'm sure if they were, u'd feel differently.

I believe that is coaching. Kap has the advantage of having a successful starting NFL QB as his head coach. I can bet money that Harbaugh is talking to Kaepernick all the way up until the time line of scrimmage or whenever they cut off the radio. Harbaugh is telling him if you get this, then do this; but if you get that, do that.

What I hate the most is: Most in the media never talk about Cam's horrible coaching. But I guess, they would at least feel that all NFL coaches are adequate, not knowing that Ron Rivera is/has been below average.

And of course, even if they knew it, they wouldn't say it, out of being polite.

You mean the Same Kaep who couldn't beat out career bust Alex Smith, who put up similar numbers he did before he finally did start?

Whoa K. Lol

A career bust? When he had crap coaches he didn't put up good numbers his first few years. Since then, he has had a good career. His first year under Harbaugh he was a muffed punt away from a Superbowl. His second year under Harbaugh he had the best QB rating in the league. He had a game last year where he was 18 for 19 with 2 tds. Career busts wish they had the career that Smith is having.

Alex Smith is an easy target, but he's not a bust. Chiefs were awful last year, he will put together another bust of a season, and lead them to the playoffs.

The ravens needed to clear out cap space to give joe flacco his truckloads of money

Year 3 of Smart Football sure is going swell!

Last time I checked, the knock on Cam was his mistakes, mainly because we didn't have a defense to cover his azz for his mistakes. Now we have a defense to cover his butt, and we run an offense even Jeff Davidson could be proud of. We need to take shots because we have the defense to compensate for bad plays. Cams an accurate deep ball passer and if we are able to put up 24 points in a half like we could the past two years, our defense can shut the other team down.

It's just a change in philosophy that may work well, we need to stop treating Cam like he's Brad Johnson though and treat him more like Duante Culpepper, free reign, deep ball and run when you like.

Cam Newton after the game: "Don't get me wrong, now, we called, you know, shots down the field. As far as me just getting the ball out just to get completions, whether the protections broke down or me just seeing something flash open, that was just me doing that."

Unless you're willing to say you don't take Cam at his word, there seems to be a bunch of misplaced anger up in here.
