Didn't it cost us 15 yards the first time?  Then it turns out it was a mistake later on and should've only been 5 yards or some poo or am I imagining things?

 

no...two different penalties were called.  the first one was for not coming back into the field of play in a reasonable amount of time.  I don't see how the hell the refs make this call really...yes...he ran a long way down the sideline, out of bounds, but he is still on an angle to the play...tough call to make I think.

 

the 2nd call was because he went out of bounds on his own without being touched, and then re-entered.  By rule, you can't go out of play on your own.

Steve Smith needs to stop celebrating when he catches a 6 yard pass like he did Sunday.

 

You would have thought he just won the superbowl. He needs to get his a$$ back to the huddle like Wes Welker does on every play. Both Cam and Steve really need to stop the dam celebrating......Both guys are huge talents but need to look at the bigger picture or at least the scoreboard before dancing around after a small gain.

Good lord... Steve Smith celebrates after those catches to get the fans, players, and even himself fired up.  You think he's gonna do that when we're strapped for time trying to get back to the huddle?  Hell no, same with Cam.  It takes like one second to ball spin/point and then they're right back.  Please shut the fug up about celebrations in pro sports, it's literally one of the dumbest criticisms in the world.

 

Just be glad Smitty isn't about 6-8 years younger.  You'd be seeing a hell of a lot more celebrations then.
