I mean it would be cool if we beat the Bills and poo...win is a win...but not 1 person is this thread can honestly they that they are looking forward to the Giants game...

This team has A LOOOONG way to go, and I'm not sure Rivera/Shula are the combo that will get us to where we want to go

To that Poster that commented on RG3 and the GB game:

Yeah, GB fumbled on the goal line, otherwise they would be down 31-0 (if they aren't already). I wonder if RGKnee will pad his stats when he's down 30+ and celebrate.

I guarantee you guys, that they won't take him out the game.

This is what happens, when you keep a non pocket QB in the pocket (RG3. Though I can't say the Panthers offense is doing much better.

Panthers better light it up, and learn from the quick routes--late in the 1st half.

Just mix up the passes and routes Shula, between quick, intermediate and long, with some runs to keep them honest.

Both our teams suck balls guys - time to face up to it

Would seem it's a battle of bad teams. I think the Bills defense is getting predictable, even to me. It's just a matter of knowing what blitzer your picking up. However, if Mario were to go to The left side we may be in trouble because Bell is just not athletic enough to keep up with him.

If we run every drive like that perfect two minute drill I think we will be successful. I also think Ginn will get a catch over top eventually. He had a hard time locating that ball and alligator armed it. Rogers is decent in zone coverage but he's just not physical enough to run man to man.

I think the Panthers finally got it right on that last drive, they were trying to focus too much on taking big shots downfield; something they did not do against Seattle, rather than get settled in a groove then take the big shot.

How the offense opens up the 2nd half will be key.

Cam was the only thing that changed in the last drive. He made better decisions(getting rid of the ball when nothing was there), he had better pocket awareness, he stepped into his throws.....

What changed is the playcalling. Quick throws, no slow developing routes.

After the way we got beat by them last season, I really am.

That was the best two minute drive we have had under Rivera ever.

This team has to change their lack of energy on game-days. Our energy suck especially on offense. They come out and play like oh it's just another game, we're going to run what we run and if it works great we probably win... if not it's just another typical lost. No, change the energy and pace

IMO it's like that because our coach demeanor and energy is like that. The team always take the attitude of its coach

    • I'm not a Bryce hater and I would 100% move on.  Especially looking at how the upcoming qb draft looks on paper.  Hopefully he continues to improve but if in 3 seasons you're still chasing average season numbers then he's not going to be the guy.  You've just got to keep taking swings until you hit.  Average qbs without any elite physical traits cant get it done anymore.  So this year Hopefully he continues to develop and is above average statistically.
    • Meltdowns???? He was pulled by Canales because he wasn't executing the game plan after 2 games into the season so he could watch Dalton execute the offense and show Bryce the windows available in the NFL, how to push the ball down the field and how to step up and move around when blitzed. When Young came back 5 games later he clearly watched and improved. Enough he was named the future starter. He doesn't have a history of  meltdowns nor is there any reason to assume he will have one. From what I have read he is mentally strong and emotional stable. He may have bad games down the road, everyone does. But this is all a learning experience for him and so far he seems to be making progress. I can understand being hesitant on anything Panthers, but Young has surprisingly been able to gain his confidence after a disastrous start. You aren't alone in being cautious but I think he is the future. I thought he was too small and too short to succeed in the NFL. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised last year and am optimistic about the offense for the first time since Wilks and Dalton were decent.
    • The Rams wanted to trade up for Williams who they ended up within the end. They even told him that when they called him to let him know he is the pick. The other teams are only an assumption. Like the Cowboys, who took a guard. The truth is the team wanted to trade down first and foremost but couldn't get an offer the were happy with. They took McMillan because they felt he was bpa at 8 plain and simple.
