Is our problem coaching or talent?

Its more than coaching.  Why would an owner hire a guy that has been passed over so many times for other HC jobs?  Why would he promote shula to OC, a guy who has never had success at being an OC, in fact he had the worst offense in the league as on OC.  I really think its about trying to save a nickel with JR. I don't know what they make but I would be willing to bet its is no way close to what most HC's and OC's make.

Coaching. However, I'm done defending Cam. He's playing like horse poo.

Cam played well enough to win, he was getting killed all day long and still made plays. he just plays for a chicken poo coach. On the hurry up drive when Cam was actually turned loose he looked like a probowler. If you put Cam in San Fran, Green Bay, New Orleans or even Miami(philbin) he would be killing it because those teams don't hamstring their QB. We need a QB friendly head coach, period. Cam and this whole team is being held back by Rivera. Cam doesn't call the plays or make the key decisions late in the game. That's Rivera playing like he has the 85 Bears defense.

Rivera's style of coaching only works if you're Lombardi or Bellicheat.  He expects the players to get motivated by his gravitas.  The problem is that he doesn't have it.

Week after week our big money players fail to make the plays that win games.  That is on Rivera.

Jordan Gross is a captain?  Please.  That is the problem with this franchise.

Gettleman will hire the next coach and I have ALOT more faith in him than  JR picking our coach

Can you name more than 10 solid players on our roster?

Cam, Olsen, Smitty, CJ, Kalil, Davis and Luke... Everyone else is serviceable.

"Hurney Magic" (and we are still paying for it, that said RR sucks as a HC. He needs to go back to what he does best, DC. We need a hardass coach to come in and change this losing culture, we have,

You forgot J.J. Jansen.  He is Solid.  You can build a superbowl team around him.

I think it is coaching plus a mismanagement from the previous GM (Hurney).

Rivera is a good D-Coordinator, but not a good HC.  In fact, the guy the Panthers let go 3-years ago was a much better HC than Rivera will ever be.

This team had huge cap issues in the off-season, even after not being good in 2009, being horrible in 2010 & 2011, and not being very good in 2012.  The result is a bad o-line, a bad secondary, and not enough playmakers on offense.  Bad investments were made, and draft picks have not panned out.  It could take years to fix this mess, but step one is to fire Rivera now.
