Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

Ill take Johnny Football Over Cam Newton Anyday. Hopefully he and rivera are both gone before the years over. Cam is not as good as people think. That has started to become more and more clear. Sheer luck and atheletic ability took him this far, but football talent and leadership ability is negligible at best.

Our coaching staff is horrid and needs to be fired, but Cam takes his share of the blame today. That said, he and the offense didn't get the chance to convert the fourth down. Rivera is the idiot who gave the ball back to Buffalo.

Cam has great potential, but I'm just impatient now.  Yes, we have terrible coaching, but I feel like if you are a great QB (especially as good as we say Cam is), that greatness will still shine through in some ways.  You may not win a lot of games because of coaching, yet at the same time you will still see him making good decisions.  I'm just getting impatient now.

Last time I checked Cam gave us a lead of 6 ponints and what happens, the defense collapses and we lose. How is that Cam's fault. If the coaches would have went  for it instead of FG, then this would be a different story. We need to play  every down like its the last no more field goal.............  :cam2:

How can you say Cam was under no pressure when Mario Williams set their franchise record for sacks in a game today?  Yeah he missed some throws, but just word it differently please.

For whatever reason, Cam seems to be regressing rather than developing. Something has to change, and I think we all know what has to be done.

Cam looked pretty bad today. Its not hating, its being honest. One of his worst games as a pro.

 

No after we started playing uptempo and the offense as a whole started clicking.

 

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Cam didn't miss a lot of throws but one of his worst games might be overselling it a bit.

Everyone always bails Cam out by saying he needs to work on his footwork and he'll be fine. It's been 3 years and he still has the same problem. Is the coaching staff oblivious to this or is Cam just not learning as fast? Footwork aside, he starred down his receivers multiple times. I just don't get him. He wants to be the best but his play doesn't reflect that. Was he seriously a one year wonder?
