The only player we have who isn't overrated is probably Kuechly....and Smith (though Smith is on about 75% of what he once was).  Cam is rapidly becoming a Josh Freeman.....just another big guy on a 6-10 team.  

I often dream of what kind of franchise we'd have if Richardson had swallowed his ego....just supplied the money...and let Polian run the show for the past 18 years.   I think there would have been a Super Bowl parade or two in our past.   

Oh well.....dreaming beats dying every Sunday with  a team that only wins games that are meaningless late in the year that  hurt our draft picks.

I am not going to say that a Hardy extension is stupid.  However, I do not think we can pay him market value.  The reason?  It is too risky and we have so many other needs.

 

Look for Alexander and Johnson to start next year. 

 

The sobering thought should be, "Do we extend Cam?"  I know we can continue to blame coaches, supporting cast, etc., but I want a QB that does not require excuses to validate.  I say that we have to surround him with an OL and some weapons at WR.  If he still needs excuses, time to go a different direction.
