They were talking about that on Sirius....statistically not that great of a percentage make it to begin with. They said it a an overhyped stat and not that big of a deal.

NY won a Superbowl and started 0-2

 

I read somewhere (yeah, I'm being lazy) that the last 30 teams that started 0-2 didn't make the playoffs.

 

That is an eye opening factoid.

There are mind boggling stats for everything.

If you get to 2-2.....does it matter how you get there?

Ah, the point is, teams that are 0-2 aren't likely to get to 2-2. The same factors that got them to the rough start typically plague them for more than just the first 2 games.

 

Not saying it can't be done, just that recent history suggests the odds are not in our favor.

 

This is especially true when said team has a head coach that's in way over his head.

OL has played well enough...Rivera should be swimming.  He went under because he was afraid to try, sank the team with him.

Two plays turn out different.....DWill does not fumble in Game 1 or the prayer by Wilson is not answered on the long pass...... and the botched coverage at the end of the game of Game 2 and we are 2-0 and all of you nimrods would be talking playoffs.  Instead, it is all doom and gloom.

I get where you are coming from but even if Deangello had not fumbled they still needed to score a touchdown. They haven't shown much ability to do that from the red zone.

      That’s like saying Vance could tell Trump what to do or Harris could tell a Biden what to do. Or the Captain is telling the Admirwl what to do.  They are there to Help facilitate their higher up’s agenda.  Dan needs to stand or fall on decisions that are clearly his to make.  Just my opinion but it is an informed opinion, having been in charge of stuff and also having been a supporting player for someone that is in charge.  You can question them but if they say they are doing whatever, you aren’t stopping it and if you make an issue of it you are likely going to be replaced.

      His name isn't David Tepper. One dude drafted Bryce Young.  I'd be more concerned that Morgan was stood next to Fitterer during his franchise tanking Drafts if we hadn't had a pretty good 2025 Draft in April.

      It was more that they had to draft that QB. They made a big song and dance about vetting them all. They thought they were the smartest guys in the room. Instead Fitterer is now bumming around in someone else's Front Office making coffee and Tepper is out tens of millions of dollars.
