I could have, don't remember. A lot of my posts are made while pooping and sometimes I black out. Buyers remorse is a feeling I can't shake. But I'll be damned if I'm not showing up or giving my tickets away.

yea it was probaby your initial reaction after the buffalo loss. more power to you, i can't afford to spend my money on something that makes me depressed week in and week out.

There are like 5 games in our 18 year history where the stadium was packed and rocking.

And I don't cry.

And that's about how many important home games we've had in our 18 year history.

Certainly can't argue that. Although I think every game is important during an NFL season.

I know, right? So much on the line in the '01 & '10 home finale.

It's weird getting all hyped up when the stadium atmosphere blows. The last game I attended I was standing, being loud, drunk, screaming, talking trash and probably cursing left and right while everyone else in the entire section sat there quietly with an occasional golf clap. It's pretty awkward TBH.

Bet you got reported and are on a security watch list now. Tone it down, man.

Agreed x10000000. I'll be there Sunday screaming my fuging ass off. I left the Seahawks game without a voice and the Giants game will be the same for me. Look at Browns and Bills who have even been worse and more inept than us over the years. They fill the stadium every weak and scream their asses off.

Before last year they were 7-9 and licked into the playoffs because the NFC West was a joke. Those Mora years were bad but they still made that place a tough stadium to play in.

so they have better fans than us.

i'm ok with that.

it's seattle, what else do they have?

you can rage all you want about the fans at BOA, but i think the mismanagement of the team and their futility in trying to produce a winning team deserves far more outrage.

the fans at BOA or even in here it could be argued that they are, as you said, "wannabe" fans.

i think it could just as well be argued that the team is a "wannabe" contender.

seems to me it's a match made in heaven...or somewhere.

Cool story alert:

My drunken friend fell not once but twice onto people seated below while we were in the upper deck. The second time he damn near landed on an infant. Anyway the crowd was a little pissed but he never got kicked out.

Good crowd that day. Except for my friend.

Is this one of those stories where the term " my friend " actually means " me " ?

    • no doubt but flip that.   The current system insures that there are "regional" games in the early weeks. maximizing the reach of playoff football.  If all of the WC weekend for a conference took place on the west coast they are reducing the "reach" of their hype machine.
    • Hard to say with London--he never ran--combine or pro day.  Here is what AI says, and it is always 100% accurate: Drake London's 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine was not recorded because he was dealing with a fractured ankle at the time. While he didn't participate in the 40 at the Combine or his pro day, his coach said his 40 time was estimated to be between 4.4 and 4.53 seconds. Some sources also list his 40 time at 4.58 and 4.6 seconds Unless you are running 9s all day, top end 40 speed is rarely reached.  I have always looked at the 3-cone drill.  At his pro day, TMac ran a 6.86--pretty good, actually.  For context, it is faster that Rome Odunze (6.88) who ran a 4.45 40.  Odunze is 6'3" and weighs 216, fwiw, and is considered a very good route runner with no wasted motion.  Mike Evans 3-cone was 7.08.  To put it in a broader context, through 2022, with all NFL prospect 3-cone drills combined, a 6.86 puts TMac in the.89th percentile-  Now consider the fact that he is 6'4" and 220.   We might have something here.  '
