Bye week opinions...B. Williams going to shine or fall?

I know Williams has been given a jersey and has been stalking the sidelines. He is raw and his blocking may be holding him back a bit. Really haven't heard anything much since the preseason about him. We could really use that two tight end set again to supplement our offense and he would fit the bill. Think we will see him at all this year or are they stashing him away for development.I know they can not risk the practice squad ,he would be plucked by another team quickly. Think he is in our plans at all this season?

IMO, next season. And he was valuable enough for the FO to be worried about putting him on the PS.

I think they need to be careful and if they decide to dose him into the offense then so be it.  I could see him being introduced if the coaching staff sees him progressing.  I would say that there will be some nuances that get him action later in the year providing he has an upward trajectory.

He needs time. Blocking and route running are holding him back. He's too raw and Hartsock is putting up good pass/run blocking grades on PFF. He's not been a pass threat along with Brockel because no matter if either is open Cam doesn't look their way.

He will, eventually.  But this is his first year playing competitive football in several years. Armanti has been transitioning for 4 years, you can't expect this guy to be ready in 4 games.

I'm excited about him. I just don't want it to turn into another barnidge situation. I always rooted for him. I blamed the coaching staff at the time. Maybe he just wasn't that good.
