Levi Brown out (AZ LT)

The guys at PFF told me that Nate Potter might be starting at LT:

@RapSheet @PFF So who plays LT for the Cardinals now? I need my Panthers front 4 to have a big game Sunday.

@PFF: Team site has Nate Potter listed as 2nd string.

@PFF Do you guys know anything about him? He started last year for 6 games. Any #PFF grades?

@PFF_Khaled:-10.6. Rookie seventh rounder starting rarely goes well at LT. Good match up on paper for Greg Hardy.

Cardinals fans are elated apparently. This guy was overpaid and underperformed.

Levi Brown has been laughably bad since he was drafted. Not only that, he hasn't progressed at all. I'm guessing the reason he was slotted as the starter is because we gave him a new, huge contract. That and being a first round pick pretty much forced us to play him.

However, we picked up another LT off waivers this week to replace Brown. I honestly believe that Brown needs a change of scenery, and the Cardinals needed to shake up the line. I truly believe that we would've beaten the Rams, and sit 3-1, if we had another LT. He's that bad. He constantly gets beaten by speed rushers, can't pick up a stunt, and gives up on plays once he's beaten. His "he played ok" games can be compared to other LT's piss poor games. By playing "ok" it means he only let one sack happen, missed 2 key blocks, and received 2 penalties. His bad games? Holding calls on key plays with big drives, false starts on key drives, 2+ sacks allowed, etc.

I know I'm bagging on the guy, but he's been awful here. I wish him the best on the Steelers. Maybe this will be a wake up call for him, and he'll play a lot better. I highly, highly doubt it though. Steeler fans expect at least 2 holding calls, a false start, and a sack each game from him. That's typical.
