I want to bet someone $100 Cam Newton does not lead the Panthers on a game winning drive this season

The rules:

A game-winning drive for the purposes of this bet means that:

Cam must be on the field the entire drive. Wildcat plays are fine, if he's hurt and Anderson finishes it off, it doesn't count.

The drive must start at the 50 or anywhere in Panthers territory.

Cam must complete at least 1 pass for positive yards on the drive.

The clock has to be under 5 minutes left when we take over.

We must be tied or trailing when we take over.

We must score a touchdown. The only way I'll count a field goal is if it's to win the game with under 10 seconds left.

You must have over 3,000 posts to enter and this is subject to change according to the approval of Zod or any other admin (Kurb maybe? Can't remember how it works here anymore.) I'd like it to be the first person with over 3,000 posts that wants to do it.

If Cam succeeds, I'll donate $100 to the charity of your choice within 2 weeks of whenever it happens. If Cam doesn't succeed, you'll donate $100 to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital within 2 weeks of the end of the season.

Anyone in? People should be chomping at the bit since everyone still believes in Cam, right?

    • I don't know. CMC is like others and may have lip serviced that line of " I had no plan or wanted to leave Carolina" I think he even said he bought a house too and wanted this to be home.   Here's what I heard- In a way Panthers org gave him a test and he didn't "fight" back. They approached CMC and told him they wanted to put him on IR since the "season" was over or out of playoff reach. CMC didn't fight it one lick and agreed. They secretly wanted him to kept playing or want to, but there was no kickback. I honestly don't know if its real or not, 5th hand information type deal doing on. Yes he had bruises and pains, but was able to play...... but went along with Panthers staff. Odd to be playing games with star players, but whatever....   Plus the staff doctors found out about his tendinitis and there was nothing to fix it. Even with him missing time, it was the best move to trade him before he got inflamed constantly.    Lastly, its mostly time a combo of stuff, Fitterererere did not sign him to be the highest paid RB. That was classic Marty "give me a" herniay doing. GMs have different values on roster spots and rumor was Fitterererer was one that didn't want to pay RBs. For all his faults, he's right about that......
    • I think google is confusing signing bonus with guaranteed money. If you get a guarantee of say $10 million, it doesn’t matter if the signing bonus is $5 or $8 million, it’s the $10 million number that affects the cap, as the signing bonus is always just a portion of the guaranteed money anyways. And again, I’ll admit I’m not 100% sure about it, but I’m pretty sure it is the case.
