Geno Smith > Cam Newton

compare 5 games touchdowns though, i just checked. Cam had 12 tds compared to 8 by Geno through 5 games

Fact is Geno doesn't run the ball in for TD near the goal line.  The Jets let their running backs do that.  Something the Panthers didn't do when Cam was a rookie.   On passing TD's they are the same.  Plus Jets are 3-2 and Panthers was 1-4 at the time.

Rookie is 3-2 while beating Falcons in their house

3 yr QB is 1-3

Most people will say QB's are good based on wins. Smith is on an upward trajectory and we are not.

Thats how these threads are born

Okay so that makes Geno better than Cam, Eli, RGIII, Matt Ryan, Bradford, and more.

Well then we don't need 20+ people that refer to themselves as "mods" if we are going to just let this place run into the ground.

we don't need no stinking mods.

We...the people have pretty much been able to control and run the sh!tters out of here, can't see that changing anytime soon.

anyways...I like reading stupid threads and posts, I make them all the time.

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
