Overrated. He's a younger Domenik Hixon, and he'll do exactly squat elsewhere just like all the other WR's that left the Giants.

He's only 25, but some of the good points in this article scare me when we talk about trading for him and giving him a big contract.

He's just not the same player he was a few years ago.  For what it would cost to get him and re-sign him.  It's not worth it.  By the time he learned the playbook, the season would be over and he'd be a free agent.

I'm a bit worried from what people are saying, that his legs are just not the same after the surgeries.  Then also you have a guy in a contract year and doesn't seem to be busting out, and not to mention a guy that has Cruz and Randle on the field with him, he should be able often.

He doesn't get seperation anymore, all of his catches come on broken plays (like rotoworld is saying). I think we could find something better in the second/third round of this draft, Nicks is still going to carry a decent price tag because of his name, but idk about you guys but I want a receiver that gets good releases.

Truthfully, I never knew what all the hype was about him. I think he is a good guy and all but I don't see a reason to trade for the guy or give him a big contract. Let's see what happens in the offseason with the draft. Currently, i am fine with who we have right now. The whole "#1 reciever" thing is overrated. That doesn't matter in this day in age. Will we eventually have to draft a wr? Yes, and I trust gettleman to get a good guy. Until then, go panthers!

this is what i was going to point out, except i wouldn't have mentioned cruz.

 

the team is 1-6. who has been reliable? i've watched them play and they are just playing poorly. beason may be the only player doing his job well this year and he just got there. the whole team just hit the snooze button way too many times this year.
