Panthers question.

A couple of years ago I remember the Panthers beating a team that was having a really bad year. If I remember correctly they fired their coach after the game. For the life of me I can't remember who that team was. I believe it was in the John Fox era. Pie to the one who knows the answer.

Thanks in advance. Go Panthers!

For some reason I had a feeling it was Tampa. I think this is right! Would be awesome if we did it to them again!

After further review, it wasn't Morris. He was fired at the end of the season. I swear there was a coach fired after a Carolina ass beating, just can't remember who. Mr Scot, please help!

Jon Gruden on MNF.

Wasn't him, he got fired on January 16 2009. But the last time we played Gruden was that epic ( yes epic is deserved here) Monday night game at home, where we kicked the poo out of the bucks and I almost got arrested for being to loud in my apartment.

Mora is the first name that springs to mind, but I have a vague memory there may have been another.

Let me do some digging.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
