FA had more production against the Bucs than you think.

He's a guy that can play the LDE, RDE, and inside on passing downs. I think we're not seeing the sacks because he's been ask to play more LDE than RDE, which is where he's more comfortable at, because Mario is a speed rusher who's been strictly on the right.

12 snaps a game does not sound very promising. He is listed as 2nd, behind CJ. Addison and Horton are behind Kracken. To me, his lack of playing time begs the question? What is up? All offseason I thought he would be ready to take over for Kracken after this year. Now? Not so much.

So I guess it is up to Addison and Horton to seize the day. Cuz I don't see Kracken accepting what Gettlemen can offer him. It is going to be fun see who gets the snaps going forward.

We do have some options when we lose Kracken. Go cheap and give the current cast a year to produce. Throw a decent draft pick at a decent DE. Sign a legit Vet DE, who has already gotten paid, to a Gettlemen type contract. A WTF? moment going our way big time I tell ya what.

Love me some Kracken. But Gettlemen has only so much money to throw at the RDE position.

hardy will want real man money and hes not there yet. When I watched the bucs game he wasnt doing much until the game was far over.. then he went for a pass rush everytime. I would like him to stay a panther but not at a stupid cost... I dont see the hype of an elite DE... and everyone calling for a monster contract.... CJ has established himself as a solid d end. Hardy is hype so far.. with good gargabe stats

He was strong in preseason and up until he was ejected in that game. It seems like he hasn't had the same fire since then. Questionable move to make him inactive after a poor decision. Have to let players bounce back. He'll be fine, but his confidence isn't strong right now.

It was insane the amount holds the Bucs were getting away with. It was the worst I've seen in a game that I can remember. It all became clear to me when I saw who the officiating crew was though...Boger's. Worst officiating crew in the NFL. I was literally yelling at my computer screen over the holds that were getting ignored.

Yea and his bitch ass called a offensive facemask on us none the less. Dude always has a axe to grind with Carolina.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
