A few moths ago i made a Jake joke and some on here went in full on attack mode. Now I am being a man and forgiving Jake for all the pain he caused me. He was at the game yesterday and called into the drive this afternoon, and, i respect the guy for still being as passionate about the panthers as he was when he played here. So thanks Jake

Good lord increase the post count to 1000 in order to start a thread.

Idk if that would cure the diarrhea of the mouth threads.. If you made a 1,000 post minimum to post threads, you would have these guys spamming every thread trying to get their post count up..

I believe the answer to this problem shouldn't be post count, but membership length.. In my opinion, a user should be an member of the forum for over 1 full year before being able to make posts.. That's just my two pennies though..

Meh, tenure doesn't mean posters will make good posts. Everyone is subject to make dumbass threads. The only thing I have noticed is that new posters or low post count members have a higher rate of making threads like this.

There has to be another way of dealing with this but hey, I'm not a mod or anything like that to take action. Albeit, there have not been a huge a mount of these types of threads though.

    • I see both sides of the arguments, but compared to last year we're somehow at an upgrade over completely fried Dalton and wasn't even good in college Plummer. At least Pickett and Grier probably have some desire to make more money when Dalton was happy to just go through the motions and I will never understand why they even bothered with Plummer.
    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
