I was walking my German shepherd puppy and I see about a 120lbs bull mastiff is charging us. He stopped in the last second and start sniffing my pup after few minutes he start growling and tried to attack my pup. Luckily for bull mastiff, he's owner ran out and grabbed him. And asked us to walk away. I said luckily for bull mastiff is because I had bear grills knife in my hand open in my pocket and if not for owner I would stub mastiff in the fuging head.

Funny how pit bulls are banned but bull mastiffs are not.

Did u ever hear about that bull mastiff that devoured a much smaller lap dog a few years ago at one of the dog parks in Charlotte? The owner claimed that the mastiff thought the lap dog was it's squeaky tow because they looked similar.

We like going to the dog park up here in Cornelius, but we have a Lab/rotty mix and he's 90 lbs. These people that bring those little lap dogs up here and let them run around with the biggins ....SMH

The Mastiff was just excited to see the pup and wanted to greet him. However dogs aren't supped to greet face to face. They see that as a challenge. Side to side or face sniffing the butt is how they're supposed to greet. If it happens again, turn your pup around while holding him. It should work out better. Then try to get the pup to sniff the Mastiff. If the Mastiff still growls, address it quickly with a quick yell or whatever (nothing physical unless it's a quick hit to the neck mimicking a quick dull dog bite. Or between rib and outer back thigh). You may have to do this a few more times right then. You may also have to do it for another day or 2. Remember to always stay calm too. Dogs can sense what you feel. If it doesn't get better, tell the owner his pet is too aggressive for him to meet your pup.

There are 12 breeds that are considered aggressive where I live and you have to carry special insurance just to own one. That said, I've had more than my fair share charge me and they've received a boot to the skull. Not really the dog's fault that the owners are morons that don't take care of their animals but I'm not getting bit because someone else is stupid. It's all about how dogs are raised. Pits get a bad rep when they can be some of the best family dogs there are.

    • An odd little vibe I've noticed here of late: some folks are "all or nothing" to an absolutely extreme level when it comes to Bryce. There are, in fact, things Bryce does well. Likewise, there are areas in which he's improved over his time here. He has, on several occasions now, legitimately helped us win games. On the flipside, there have been failures in other areas as well as coaching that we're not in any way his fault.  And finally , it is also genuinely possible that the team may see him as the future, even if we don't. The craziest part, though? It's actually possible that they're right and we're wrong. All of this is true, and more, yet if you accept any of these premises people go from zero to apesh-t in under three seconds 😳 Anything less than total disavowal of Bryce and / or agreement that he's the worst QB of all time and suddenly you're a "stan". Oy 🙄 The reality though?  Bryce is indeed an NFL quarterback. Not a great one, probably backup level good, and I've seen way worse. Now, if you run that statement through your personal Google translator and it comes back with some version of "I want to throw 50 million a year at Bryce for the next 10 years", that's not really my issue it's yours  I don't wanna make him the franchise quarterback, but it's not my call. Win or lose, the team is going to do what they think is best. And as always, if it disagrees with what I think we should do, I'm gonna hope I'm the one who's wrong. Internet clout means nothing. Watching my favorite team win at my favorite sport meas fun 😁
    • I like Icky but he was the wrong tackle to take. Learning run blocking is much easier than learning pass blocking. Cross was pass pro ready. He was the tackle we should have taken without hesitation.
    • Never saw this angle of the Tyson fight either lol.
