CJ getting MRI - fingers crossed

hope it is nothing serious, can't afford to lose him for long, but tbh, if he's going to be gone for 2 or so weeks and it has to be at some point in the season I'd rather it be now so we have him for the stretch run & playoffs.

hoping he is fine and misses no time tho

everything i've heard so far is MCL sprain.

if there's a chance he could bother it coming back next week, i say let him sit for a week, two weeks if necessary, and come back full strength for the saints game. time for alexander to earn a paycheck.

yeah, this should be more of a frank week.  if he doesn't start stepping it up soonish i'd be very amazed to see us not extend hardy because there just is no one else in the defensive end corps with his kind of impact.  it's almost a given to see something done with cj's contract somehow because that thing is going to be just colossal.

They already said xrays were negative when he went to the locker room. Hopefully it's nothing more then a sprain. We can afford to miss him against Mia who may have the worst offense line in history on and off the field.... Bullies

I want to say Xrays wont show ligament or tendon damage, but at least no broken bones.  MRI will be the final say.  IF, and I pray it isnt, but he would not be the first player to suffer an ACL and come back in the game.  Jenkins did it back in 05 and it happens pretty regularly.

Xrays wouldn't show a tear.  That was just to see if there was damage to his bones.
