Throwing tgat much usually jeans you are losing and trying to cone from behind.

Stats are for losers....all that matters is wins

If Cam is putting up 5000 yds passing and 1000 yds on the ground along with 60 TDS, I am pretty sure we will be winning games.

With the defense that we have we would be 16-0 and on our way to the superbowl

Do you realize how good those stats are especially if he is throwing less than 20 ints with a 95+ qb rating????

That is god mode, absolute soul stealing of NFL teams.

It is Auburn circa 2010-2011 again, maybe even more dominant

That is HOF stats

We know Cam can go deep and rush for a shitload of yards and TDs, this season he is proving that he can complete the short-medium chain moving throws as well.  He's doing a pretty good job of polishing his game up as a pocket passer this season and playing the game before the snap.  2011 was just straight up raw Cam--pretty much just letting him cut loose and make poo happen.

Now in a season or two when all of the elements of his game finally come together and we hopefully have a threat at receiver?  Holy poo, he's going to be one bad man.

I honestly think once he puts it all together he'll have a serious shot at being the straight up best player in the league.  I think some of us sometimes forget exactly why we got so excited about him to begin with his rookie year.

It's clear the coaches are using Cam however they need him this season. Where as in the first season, they let him lose because they team was just that bad. The second season, they contained him because it seemed they were trying to get the rest of the team to step up their game. This season, as stated before, the coaches seem to be using Cam as they see the need. IMO, that is a testement to how exceptionally talented Cam really is.

It comes to me many of you are media trained. You see your QB as those in the media want you to see him, not as the exceptional player that he is. Can he grow more? Yes and that should be seen as dangerous. But those on this team also need to step up their game much more than him.

I remembered during Cam's first season, when the media was continued to push the whole Cam doesn't have good work ethics BS, they asked Rivera how he was playing. It seemed as if they wanted to hear a statement they could run with to prove their point about Cam. But instead, Rivera said he wished he had "20 more Cams on his team." That sound-bite never went any futher than that interview. When it comes to some players, stats are not telling the full story.

Are you not winning now?

And I am sure if Cam did put up numbers like those many of you would be following those in the media, who would be screaming that Cam is SELFISH and not being a team player. :)

Our offense lends itself to lower stats on the offensive side of the ball but absolutely is as effective.  If we have 10-15 play drives, it is going to chew up clock and eventually eliminate possessions which leads to lower total yardage and can lead to lower point totals but every bit as effective output.  In this sense, it makes our defense slightly a facade to because the opposing teams have fewer opportunities.  In this sense, Cam could not only be considered out best offensive player, but because of his ball control, he's our best defender as well.  This only works though if the defense can get off the field, and/or force turnovers, and our defense anchored by Kuechly is doing an excellent job of that.

Dude, please get out of here with that.  You're like a broken fuging record - for over 2 years now you've been spouting the same tired crap.  It was a compliment to Cam, and of course you single out one thing and start that "media trained" bullshit.  I know my QB.  I've watched every single snap/press conference/etc. of his since he's been a Panther.  I'm one of the bigger Cam supporters you'll find.

The dude isn't perfect, it isn't insane to believe that he's more polished as a QB in his 3rd year versus his 1st year... especially considering how raw he was coming out and only having 1 year of division 1 school experience.
