The Carolina Panther have struck a four-year deal with rookie offensive guard Duke Robinson that included a $171,590 signing bonus, according to a league source.

Robinson's deal has a maximum value of $2.663 million, if a fourth-year escalator clause is triggered.

It includes minimum base salaries of $310,000, $395,000, $480,000 and $565,000.

Hoping that this guy develops into at least some solid depth and a potential starter. Definately glad to see that he's not the last to sign on. With a lot of people listing him as a top draft pick, it's nice to see that he didn't use that as a base to hold out.
