i didn't realize hardy didn't start. that strikes me as odd. but i guess rivera knows what he's doing.

i'm guessing bell isn't starting because he sucks

Hardy didn't start or play the second snap because he was late to a team meeting earlier this week.

Opening series this week and last week he watched from the bench.....

Then both games he played the entire game at RT after the first series was over. Just found it odd.

PFF shows him as playing every snap last week.

The team has been doing this "No title, No rank" thing all season, where everyone is is accountable and everyone has input. 

Keeping Hardy out for a series shows the rest of the team no one is special and everyone will be held accountable.

Mentioned Hardy just to show RR punishes guys to open up games (he was a recent example)

Bell hasn't been the opening RT for 2 weeks now

 

I think Bell does not have that quick first step to protect the edge plus the penalties.

 

Chandler on the other hand is quite remarkable being he was playing DL last year OG earlier this year and now OT. It is to early to crown him king but his story is quite remarkable.

I think that RR just does not want anyone coming off the bench with no game experience. He talks continuously about working all the players into the game. He said something like ' I don't want players saying oh well I'm third string, I'll just sit on the bench and watch,"

 

And I think we all see the results of this kinda coaching.

      So let’s do the reverse? Make everyone agree everything he does is a disaster? I also think the whole “gaslighting” is on the eye of the beholder. It went from he can’t avoid one single sack countered with he actually did that well Sunday (with data backing it) to a little breakdown of why he is so bad. People are going to have different opinions. I’m also not going to pretend this wasn’t happening Day one with this little QB.

      All this great stuff he has done, how often does he do it?  I have it at three or four games out of 14 where he was very good and then you get a drive here or a series there where there are some good things. Here is the gaslight part: everyone has put him on a curve with his first year the baseline, neglecting to understand how bad he was then. Even if he comes back twice as good, where does that really leave him? 25th ranked or thereabouts.     He had so far to go, and still does, it is a Major ‘settle’ to accept his play as worthy of giving him our future.  You want to settle when the Bucs have Mayfield, and the Saints have overtaken us at QB? We will be third in the division at QB. That is good enough for y’all?
