28 guests.... welcome Stains fans, gulp it up, get angry, because this will be last time we are in your rear view mirror for quite a while.

A whole 28 guest? Gee, those must all be scared Saints fans. Wonder how many guests on SR at the second?

I love how hypocritical this board is.

Saints have a nice little 6 game win streak in their precious Dome. The last team to beat them in their Dome? The Panthers. Week 17 of last season, where they put up 44 points on the Saints... the most points allowed in the Dome, in almost a decade.

Well since were speaking previous match ups, Panthers last year were averaging 22 points given up on defense, Saints offense scored 27 in first game and 38 the second game, a game they led for 3/4 of the game, but they lost those games on defense which is greatly improved and playing great except for last nights bad showing. Last time Payton coached the a Saints, panthers got embarrassed in 45-17 beatdown and that was with Saints not trying to score after 3rd and just handing of and running.

Pretty sure most of your guests are bandwagon saints fans trying to make sense of the asskicking they witnessed last night.

I can feel the greasy uneasiness just oozing from your post. There are things I can't unsee, and the image of you will unfortunately haunt me.

So 28 guests here, and it's definitely Saints fans, yet 456 guest on SR and it's just bandwagon Saints fans and no Panthers fans even though this entire thread is about what they are posting over there and everyone here is posting about what they read over there when they logged on as a guest on SR, including owner of this board. Seems legit.

I think the majority of the 456 guests are Seahawks and Panthers fans browsing through the threads and laughing at the collective crying and delusion of your idiotic fanbase after you guys got spanked.

I for one am highly enjoying the massive meltdown you double digit IQ swamp people are having over there.

I tried to actually sign up for membership to contribute to conversation over there..... but apparently it takes DAYS to be authorized to post...

For me the hardest thing to prepare for when playing the Saints is the increased speed on the turf.  One of the reasons they lose on grass is that their team is built for speed particularly after the catch.  We have to match that speed and stop the YAC.  That is really what Seattle did last night.  Force Brees to go to the underneath guy and stop them from converting first downs.  On offense Wilson avoided the blitzes and was able to burn them when they went to man coverage by throwing over the top.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
