Fug Steven A. Once he learns the difference between Russell Wilson and Russell Westbrook, then maybe my respect for him would rise from a 0 to a 3

but russell wilson is such a dear, dear friend of his... he would call him PERSONALLY if this were true.

He really isn't going out on a limb by saying that since New Orleans just proved they aren't up to the task.  Would anybody claim with a straight face that anybody else other than SF or us would have any chance at all out of all the remaining NFC playoff teams, none of which have really impressed anyone this season?

Yea, I've always liked Stephen A.  Don't always agree with him, but I've mostly respected him and his opinions.  Even mistaking "Russell Wilson for Russell Westbrook" he's still more knowledgeable 75% of the rest of the "analysts" in the media and he doesn't seem to just read straight from the company playbook like a lot of the others.  He seems to form his own opinions, which is why I respect him more than most others.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
