It was announced during the game.

Bobcats lead Dallas by 3 late in the 4th quarter....

Edit: Wanted to add official sources.

Indication is MKG broke his hand driving to the rim in the third quarter. About six minutes into the second half.

#bobcats say MKG's fractured left hand will be re-evaluated tomorrow in Charlotte. I don't know when he was hurt.

Edit:  It's confirmed that he will miss between 4-6 weeks, so he'll be back sometime in early to mid January.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist became the latest former Kentucky star to be sidelined four to six weeks with a broken left hand.

The Bobcats announced Wednesday that Kidd-Gilchrist, the No. 2 pick in the 2012 NBA draft, suffered a non-displaced fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his left hand during Tuesday night's game at Dallas.

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
