What is the origin of the Riverboat Ron name?

I feel like an idiot for asking, but who originally came up with the Riverboat Ron nickname? Was it someone on the Huddle or someone in the media, or a player? I'm just curious.

 

Jim Kennedy, a freelance graphic designer who lives in Raleigh and graduated from N.C. State in 2008, designed this "Riverboat Ron" image after watching Carolina edge San Francisco Sunday.

Incorrect, it was coined after the Vikings game despite the fact he was showing tendencies in the Giants game which avalanched that score into a 38-0 shut out which led to him embracing going for it on forth down despite it biting him in the game against the Cardinals where LaFell dropped an easy 4th down conversion swinging momentum.
