Just a few notes...

- Merchandise will go on sale January 18th with the new Hornets logo in it.

- Fred Whitfield said that the original logo is part of the NBA's legacy and they are not allowed to reuse it as their logo for this team (which is why they decided to go with something a little different), but they will use the original logo for throwback jersey's.

- Jordan Brand and Nike collaborated to design the logo. We are the only team that has a logo designed by Nike.

- The team will still sell merchandise will the original hornets logo.

- Much like the logo, Hugo will also undergo a new look.

- The jersey's will be unveiled sometime over the summer.

    • Reminds me of the "miscommunication" the org had regarding the use of "Keep Pounding" back in 2021. Shouldn't even be in a position for things like this to be an issue given the state of the franchise the last several years.
    • Sad to see you feel/act like that. Hope you get healthy in the future. Keep Pounding.
    • Look, I've been pounding on the Canales shouldn't be calling the offensive plays thing since last year. He's first off, not very versatile and makes Ron Rivera look like a master of mid-game adjustments. Also, because I think you really, really need to be calling the offensive plays from the booth with a better view of the whole field.  A coach on the field cannot grasp how the opposing sideline WR is doing in coverage while also checking the two receivers on his side, plus keep up with how the line is doing and if the RB is in the groove. Heck, for the line alone he doesn't have the best view of where the RB is going to see success and how to best exploit it. Hence Rico saying, Yo coach, keep running this.  Still, all these things in there, no matter how hard I'm banging on that drum, I can't let it drown out my joy in getting one of those rare Ws. Even coaches can learn and grow from them. I sure hope he will.
