it was easy to give up on Cam (this isn't a bash Cam haters thread)

Beating teams with his arm does not require constantly taking negative sacks.

A miracle won't happen every Sunday.  I wish it would, but it won't.

Also doesn't require getting blown back 3-4 yds because o-line can't hold their blocks, also requires wrs to get open consistently

I have always believed in Cam the person (his integrity, his value set, his tenacity, his intelligence, etc).

Forgive me if I find it difficult to forget those on this board and in the media that made a sport of attacking his character as a human being.

Too many are hiding behind "oh look how much Cam has matured" when the reality is they were wrong about him 3 years ago and just are too petty to admit it.

I didn't think Cam had maturity issues the last couple years, but there are quotes by Cam himself about how he has changed how he appears so that people don't think he's less mature.  While I agree a lot of people hide behind the bullshit, there appears to be some truth that Cam saw people's interpretations of his behavior was negatively affecting his image and sought to change that for the betterment of the team.

I don't know, this is a tough one, because I don't think the media narrative about Cam is right at all, but his quotes support it in part.

I already said that.

Some things he can control and some things he can't.  I simply pointed out two tendencies that coaching would help him with.

It's clear other teams have seen the same things and my suggestion is the coaches need to help him, either by scheme, play calls, or showing him the tendency with corrections.

that's all.

Just like with Rivera, I always thought that Cam would become a winner with enough experience and time.  Just like in a classroom at any grade level, or any job or position, everyone does not  develop  at the same pace. I believe that in the Case of Cam, And Rivera, patience is truly a virtue.  Growing into a position or role is a process, regardless of living in a culture where everyone wants what they want tight now. Life just doesn't work that way for 99.9 percent of us.
