Yup. Even Perero(sp) said it may have been the correct call by the book. But in the flow of the game, it should have been ignored.

even mike pereira basically said it seemed questionable at best... that it was an iffy call because it was clear that the player being called for it was not violating the spirit of the call because it was only a part of his shoulderpad that was covering the center's area

This! The center was NOT covered. The ref in the backfield who really could not see sh!t made that call. BS all the way, but fortunately not costly in the end.

I saw Arizona get flagged for the same BS
