They looked pretty good on road yesterday. Armstead killed 5 drives in first half, and finally adjusted in second half, it was his first start and the reason Saints didn't have as many points as they did the first time. In contrast, Panthers had just 4 drives out of 13 go for more that 5 yards, the other 9 were almost all 3 and outs. Saints D dominated both games. Saints offense didn't score enough second meeting because of rookie tackles first start. That won't be an issue next time.

Don't forget another Saints drive to 26 that went backwards after a flop job got Strief a 15 yard penalty and Payton called a fake FG.for zero points. 3 points there mean Saints only need a FG for win at end.

 

 

Looked pretty good in a loss is still a loss.

 

The Saint's got some "questionable" calls in their favor as well.

Steve Smith our #1 WR was injured which affected our offense.

 

Vaccaro being injured is a big hit to your defense.  Roman Harper :)

 

Armstead isn't magically going to become an all pro LT in the next few weeks.  Brown is probably worse.

Don't get it twisted, Unsightly Santa. You don't have a front page for a good reason. If you take pride in being the (very large) butt of a joke, you truly have nothing in your life. 

 

If you came on here and took it with an ounce of dignity, I may have had some respect for you.
