Ritz Carlton & Tailgate

Going to be staying at the ritz about a mile from the stadium. Has anybody stayed there and walked to the dome or did you take a bus or park in a lot. Also is there any big Panther tailgate that is going on that my friend and I can join??? Looking forward to the dome takeover

Be loud, be proud...and be safe.

I am originally from that area and I suggest a shuttle or the bus.  Fulton County is on McGruff the Crime Dog's naughty list.

And before anyone says anything, I haven't lived there since 1969 but visit family quite often.  Charlotte, it ain't.

Walk.  The area is perfectly fine between the Ritz and the Dome.

Best way is to wander south on Peachtree from the Ritz about two blocks to Starbucks, then turn right onto Luckie Street.   (or, better -- take Peachtree south about one block, then turn onto Forsyth towards the Dunkin Donuts... then go one more block to Luckie).  However you get there, take Luckie all the way to the Giant Ferris Wheel at Centennial Olympic Park, then turn left to join the Panthers fans heading over to the Dome.

There are other ways you could go that would have you zig-zag on streets back and forth between the Ritz and Centennial Park, but it's more a pain in the butt if you're not a local who knows where you're going.

Don't take a bus or taxi. It's not worth the $$ or effort.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
