Panthers blow out Niners, Saints beat hawks, Panthers blow out Saints in Charlotte and win a nail biter over Denver in the Super Bowl?  Cam newton is the MVP?

 

Panthers win a close one over the Niners, go to Seattle and cruise to an easy win over the Hawks (making Steve Smith a prophet) then get sweet Super Bowl revenge against the Patriots?  Luke Kuechly knocks Tom Brady into next week.

 

Panthers blow out everyone in their path and become easy Super Bowl champions?  Steve Smith is the Super Bowl MVP?

 

If you could choose how the playoffs go from this point on, what would you like to see?

 

Or if you like (for fans of reverse mojo) write out your nightmare scenario, the worst ending you can imagine.

Panthers beat the niners 28-10 after cam goes off rushes for 2 touchdowns one from 50+'yards and throws a deep bomb to Ted ginn and one to Smitty......Seattle beats the saints but it's closer......As usual NO ONE gives us a shot to beat Seattle in Seattle, but we go up there and cam once again takes the game over rushing for multiple TDs and not allowing us to lose.......Super Bowl vs Denver in horrid weather....our front 7 dominates the broncos sack Peyton 6+ times....cam once again has a stellar performance capping off his historic playoffs with a Super Bowl MVP.....finishes playoffs with 1100 yds passing 210 rushing 7 passing TDs and 6 rushing for one of the most dominate playoff performances of all time

Obviously I would like to blow everyone out. I don't care who or where we play. And then dominate the league for the next decade.

 

Understood, but ask a longtime Panther fan about their fondest memories, and everyone mentions "X-Clown".

 

Wouldn't it be cool to see a moment like that again?

 

 

i want nailbiters in all three games. i want Cam to do his thing. I want a Ginn td to shove in the 9ers face. i want td to dive over the o line and hit the rb in the superbowl with one second left on the 1 yard line to win the super bowl.

 

Case in point.

Best Case Scenario: Panthers dominate the 49ers, win by more than one touchdown while Kaepernick has an abysmal day and the Cam vs. Kaep debate is settled. Then they go into Seattle with the "nobody believes in us" mentality and squeak out a win, either on a Gano field goal as time expires or an OT shocker like X-Clown. The Super Bowl would have to be versus Denver (since I live here and love poo talking). Manning would spend most of the game on his back while the Panthers running game takes over. It would come down to the wire but the Panthers win a thriller 28-24.

 

Worst Case Scenario: Saints come to Carolina next week and win on their way to a Super Bowl championship. fug. that.

Cuz FYI, its doesnt really matter what YOUR mentality is on sunday. As far as I know, Cam's still getting the start over you

      Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!

      When the broadcast showed the two benches side by side during the last TV timeout, it was pretty obvious the whole operation is a shitshow. If I was the owner, I would play that clip, with commentary, on the jumbotron at MSG as I fired the coach, GM, President, the whole lot. Bring in your AHL leadership team, wholesale, to finish out the season and start from scratch next year.  Can't fire all the players and fold the season. But, hopefully decapitating the zombie will light a fire under the body and burn out the cancer of the roster. (It makes sense if you don't think about it...) There are obviously issues on the roster. But, you can't have the entire coaching staff completely tuned out with 5 minutes left in a 2 goal game this early in the season. And you can't trust the people that hired them to hire the next staff. If you trust your AHL GM/Scouts, let them run the deadline firesale.   ...     Please don't let the owner read any of this. Because, this poo is hilarous!
