Richard Sherman ranks Cam as the 7th smartest QB

Recommended Posts

I really tuned in when he said this.

please understand that I’m not talking about these guys in terms of reputation or highlight reel plays.

I like his list, but as someone already mentioned, he might be a bit bias with the placement of Andrew Luck and Russel Wilson because he was a former teammate of Luck and current teammate of Wilson.

Sherman is a smart player. Great guy to have on the team.

I think everyone can agree who has the most POTENTIAL of any young qb and thats Cam. He has all the tools. Not knocking any other young QBs but I would say when Cam got here he had the worst team around him compared to others.. Now the times are changing and Im so glad Panthers stood with him, I always will. Him Russel & Luck have the best years coming.

Best arm, probably.

Best arm is not strongest arm.

Sent from the Carolina Huddle App

Luck doesn't have the most accurate arm either. So if it's not either of those things, what makes him anywhere near the best?

If you want to consider everything like strength, accuracy, perfect spiral, good release point, etc. than the best arm is probably Rodgers.

Wow... the guy plays against BirdMan in San Fran 2x a year and he doesn't even rank an honorable mention...

Sherman said what goes into his ranking.....

Kapernick is a one read QB. Media guys don't seem to pay attention to that for some reason

Rodgers ran 4.72, he could have excluded the track star who made the olympic and rushed for over 800 yards as rookie RG3 from that list for credibility purpose. He looks to be on the right track with his writing saying what the populace want to hear. Now, what does he really think!

I'm just wondering, have Luck been voted to the pro bowl yet? Weird, you'd think the way his name sneaks into every topic that we were talking about a pro bowl caliber QB. The fans, coaches, and the 1600+ players don't think he's a pro bowler when they're afforded anonymity.

Agreed being able to make ALL the throws and with touch so the WRs can make a play after the catch is invaluable.

Cam still needs work on fade throws and he misses open seam passes way too often..his Arm strength is A++ Cam offers a lot of other intangibles that despite similar combine 40 times, Luck is incapable of duplicating.

4.59 =! 4.67
