Steve Smith update

Even with Smith, the rest of the receiving corps tends to come up small. They have to play like they did against New England tomorrow and we should enjoy a very competitive game.

LaFell has been practically non existant the last six weeks, he HAS to figure out a way to get some catches.

I don't disagree that it'd be great to have LaFell be more active in the passing game, but his value as a downfield blocker can't be overstated. DeAngelo doesn't score on the double screen against the Jets without LaFell sealing the sideline for him 40 yards down field. He also had a fantastic reception over the middle in that game.
