once again cam is our leading rusher

This is starting to become a problem, this is going to be year 4. He mentioned he cant keep doing what he's been doing. Didnt Rivera & co have 3 years to fix this problem? If we cut them in 2011, even 2012. What would it meant for this season offseason?

Since drafting Cam they've done what to try and help him?

-Sign shockey one year

-Draft absolutely no one all three years

-Signed Ginn this offseason but no one expected him to contribute as a WR

-gave him Tolbert but I'm talking down field weapons

I'm seriously concerned that no one other than us huddlers view the "weapons" Cam has a problem.

People actually do question his passing ability still to this day all you have to do is flip on ESPN or NFLN.  He did have a good first 2 games that shut them up for a bit, the rest of the season did put up the yards but threw many picks and missed on some big crucial throws.  Still was pretty much the same the next year.  Why do you think their has been so many threads complaining about the media affair with RG3 Crying how every media outlet is throwing Cam under the Bus talking up Kaep, Wilson, Luck, Rg3, Stafford etc etc.  Its not just random media heads to, these ESPN guys don't just make poo up they do hear stuff from teams etc.  Cam has made some game winning drives this year but still people put him below many QBs in terms of passing.  Not having anybody to throw to and #'s not looking so great, said he sat in the pocket to much in Nola etc etc but no one getting open or catches not his fault but shows up on his stats and the media etc ride that coat-tail to back up their argument.

People question his passing ability or weapons?

I think everyone in the NFL knows he can throw, unless you're talking about trolls and Internet morons.

I think those questions were answered his first two games in the NFL.

The Panthers don't scare you at WR and TE. All you have to do, is look at other NFL games to see why.

Im saying if we took care of stew/d.will after 2011 or last year, what impact would it have on this year cap/offseason?

Or even trading them. From my view point if there's smoke there's fire and there were too many d.will being traded threads... it was a few for stew this year

I was speaking about the NFL teams that the Panthers play against, not the idiots in the media. They know he can throw!

Who else you think I was speaking about (you did speak about the opposition stacking the line, didn't you)??

And don't be fooled. Many legitimate media and NFL analyst, know Cam can throw (Trent Dilfer, Greg Cosell, Michael Irvin, Gil Brandt, etc.), cause he can actually read defenses and sit in the pocket.

You bring up Kaepernick; but everyone knows and says that Kaepernick can't read defenses, and is a one read QB such as RG3. And Wilson, despite all his accolades and success, is a limited pocket passer, and does more on the run/roll out, outside of the pocket (though many don't know this as much as the other two) than inside of it. And who relies more on their run game and trickery, than Wilson, RG3 and Kaepernick??

So as far as I can see, both Kaepernick and RG3 were exposed this year (in your media argument) as one read, limited QB's, than Cam, who many in the same media admit is a more refined pocket passer.

It's true. Sometimes many Panther fans do pay too much attention to idiots, instead of those who they respect and know what they're talking about.

I have been saying for all this year for anyone who questions why we don't have an explosive offense.

I am not saying we should draft differently, but you HAVE to rely on your defense if your going to THROW ALL your resources into defense. Your offense has no choice but to look BAD.

Look, this the same offense that in 2010 scored the least amount of points in the league. In 2014, it is the SAME group just CAM is different. The only real difference between this offense and 2011 is Smith is now older and slower.

And Shockey was never replaced.

So there's no additional big, possession or TD threat that Cam can throw to since Shockey left.

I would LOVE this organization to take the same approach that Indy does with Luck. Attempt to SURROUND him talent and people he is comfortable with. Luck goes first overall...the Colts then selected his college roommate...then TY Hilton...the make sure they keep Reggie Wayne...the bring in his offense coordinator...when his starting RB went down, they trade for Richardson. I know the Richardson deal looks bad now, but at least the Colts are attempting to do things to HELP Luck.

The Panthers draft Newton #1 overall the year prior to Luck. The Panthers have done nothing of note to HELP.

The difference is the Colts at least tries...the Panthers don't even try.

Watch we draft a CB, and people on here will react like "Well Newton just needs to turn Lafell into an elite WR..."

No. Enough. We have addressed the defense, have a brilliant defensive Head Coach that gets paid to mask our defensive weaknesses. Go get Newton some damn weapons.
