That alone pretty much tells you Maggie's family is involved and Audrey was exposed to "Carcosa" one way or another.

i haven't been this anxious in years about a show on tv.  in fact, other than documentations, i don't watch much tv.  but i do love mcconaughey.  and it's only because of his character in contact.

Wasn't the scar face guy in the first episode mowing the lawn as well and they drove up on him, much like the 2 newbies did last week?

 

I have a feeling, as was said earlier, too many people are trying to "out-think the room" and are really going out there with these theories.

If they go a supernatural route it'll really take away from the series as a whole so I really hope they don't do that. This is supposed to be gritty and real.

In my last post I had theorized thst Maggie was somehow involved. For whatever reason, again, that talk between Marty and her father in that first or second episode when they were visiting her family stood out to me. And as a couple of you have mentioned here... unless she became a doctor - I was under the impression that she was a nurse - what has she done since the divorce to significantly upgrade in her lifestyle, as she has... that didnt appear to be a nurse's bouse. She seemed very cold and calculating during the end of Cohle and Hart's run in 2002, as well as during her questioning in the present. And I still dont understand why she lied to the police about what happened in 2002. She has a really empty gaze... I think that was done intentionally.

And again, how did she find out what bar Rust was working at and come see him just to ask what they're going to do?

Who knows?? I just don't think she should be written off yet...

Yeah I definitely think she or at least her father has something to do with it. With her new big house, I think there were a couple of pictures in the house that indicate she has married another man. Maybe he is responsible for the big house.
