Bears Not Likely To Resign Charles Tillman

The Chicago Tribune doesn't expect the Bears to re-sign free agent CB Charles Tillman.

Tillman, 33, played in just eight games this season due to multiple injuries. The Bears are unlikely to offer a contract anywhere close to the $7.95 million he made in 2013, but there's been speculation that Tillman could reunite with Bucs coach Lovie Smith in Tampa. "I am just going to see what happens. I have options," Tillman said. Rotoworld ranks Tillman as the No. 6 free agent cornerback this offseason. He could also be moved to safety depending on where he signs.

Rivera connection. Could be Mikell type player. Injured a lot last year, still talented when not.

He was good when not injured.

Florence was trash before he came here and was great most if the time. Mikell was also transformed.

Tillman is better than both. I'm sure we can get him to play his best and put him in situations to succeed.

Would love him for the right price.
