Officials say the suspect in a Saturday night assault attempted to ditch police by jumping from the eighth-floor window of a University Circle apartment building.
The 26-year-old man – accused of attacking a female friend with a knife inside her Commodore Place apartment at 1990 Ford Drive -- is now in the hospital with severe head and skeletal injuries, according to officials.
