Our needs on offense simply can't be met in the draft, so Gettleman will have to make some big moves in FA. That or we're going to have a terrible season. I'm still in shock that we need a LT and #1 WR, but we kept putting it off.

Even if all the speculation about a certain beloved wide reciever isn't true, we need more starting level talent on every offensive unit, excluding the backfield.

The team doesn't need gettleman to get multiple expensive guys, just multiple talented ones.

I can't wait for this to happen at this point. He's done nothing but piss off the players on this team who worked their asses off last year (well besides Hardy, now). Maybe he's confident they can sign Smith for less. But I have an idea he's Vince Russo-ing this team.

I won't be surprised if some of the first names out of the gate are Panther players.
